Your trusted partner for quality, bespoke and innovative education
Founded by two expert educators with 10+ years of experience in teaching and mentoring, Ying & Dutton Education is an innovative K12 academic learning company offering premium tutoring, AI for academic success programs, schools application support, and education tours for high school students.
Our Services
-
Our expertise is in English and Math, but we are also qualified and willing to offer tutoring support in other humanities and STEM subjects (e.g. history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology etc.) on a case-by-case basis.
We cover levels from Common Entrance (9+, 11+, 13+), I/GCSE, MYP to A-Level, IB and AP (or equivalent exam boards), as well as UK, US, Canadian, Australian and other English-taught undergraduate degrees (subject to individual case and needs).
We also integrate technology and AI learning in our own curriculum, and in our classes, we will be encouraging students to learn how they can use AI and other helpful tech tools in ethical and valuable ways to elevate their own studies.
-
In an era where generative AI and technological advancements are transforming the way people learn and work, we believe that students must equip themselves with the technical know-how and ethical awareness of using AI and digital tools for their learning.
Our company offers a comprehensive suite of AI for academic success workshops, geared at enabling and empowering high school students to use AI for smart, effective and responsible learning. Examples of programs include using Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve study efficiency, strengthen communication fluency, enhance exam revision skills, deepen subject-specific knowledge - and more.
We work with pedagogical researchers, AI experts, school teachers and edtech industry veterans to create our curriculum, ensuring that our programs are supported and backed up by technical and industry expertise.
We deliver our flagship AI curriculum for academic success via regular, small-group workshops both in-person and online - contact us to find out more.
-
We provide multi- or single-year admissions counselling guidance and support to students who are interested in applying to boarding schools and universities in the UK, US, Canada, Australia (and other jurisdictions with English-taught undergraduate programs).
Guidance includes school application strategy, individual SWOT analysis, personal self-discovery exploration, essay and personal statement support, research project collaboration, and other relevant aspects pertinent to maximizing the chances of a student’s success of entering their desired institution.
We are able to provide comprehensive support and liaison in native-level English, Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese.
-
We believe that students succeed academically when their physical and mental well-being are also optimised.
While getting good grades and getting into great schools may be our goal, it isn’t the only goal, and if we don’t make sure that they are feeling and thinking positively, then chances are whatever academic ‘success’ they achieve is only short-lived.
This is why we offer monthly mentoring check-ins and face time with each student, where we find out more about how they’re doing and feeling in general, and offer tips and advice on how they can take care of themselves even while working hard at school.
-
Increasingly, the students that have a distinct edge over their competition are those equipped with a global, multi-cultural mindset, which only comes from first-hand experience with and exposure to different cultures and peoples.
This is why our team offers unique, tailored educational tours based on a student’s academic interests and passions, e.g. literary heritage tours tracing the origins of Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens through the UK, historical exploration tours in Northeastern US to understand the founding values and stories of a republic, Chinese culture and language immersion camps in Beijing and Shanghai - and more.
Students will be guided by at least 2 adult chaperones throughout the tour, with options for accommodation and transport upgrade based on parents’ wishes. Maximum capacity for each tour is 10 pax. Contact us to find out more and we can design a personalised educational tour for your child.

What sets us apart
AI literacy for future-proofing
We now live in a world where AI tools like ChatGPT are widely used in the workplace, so the next generation will need to equip themselves with AI know-how, and most critically, learn how to use AI ethically to save time while learning more and better.
We encourage students to embrace an innovative, future-ready mindset by seeing AI as a learning companion. This is why AI skills are featured in all our language and STEM curriculum, as we teach students how to prompt engineer AI tools like GPT and Midjourney to create essay frameworks, brainstorm creative ideas, aid with analytical problem-solving, review their work - and more
Immersive learning for global exposure
One of the best ways to gain authentic cultural exposure is through extensive travel, especially to off-the-beaten-track regions where the cultures and societies differ from our own, but experiencing them first-hand offers a tremendous broadening of one’s perspective and refinement of character.
We specialise in niche region cultural exploration tours for high school students, and aim to have our student travellers gain an in-depth, personally guided experience to places like Central Asia, Northern Africa, the Caucasus Region etc. We also do history, arts, and science/space-themed exploration tours to Paris, Florence, London, New York, Boston, Silicon Valley in California.
We are able to tailor-make tours upon request if there is a specific destination that parents and students wish to discover.
Individual mentorship for personal development
Each one of our students gets assigned an individual mentor based on personality fit, subject interest match, and mutual chemistry. Our mentors are all top university graduates and/or full-time corporate professionals.
The mentor will check in on the student on a weekly basis (via a phone/video call or in-person meeting), where they will catch up on how the student is doing at school and home, how the student is feeling in general, and what the mentor can provide in terms of advice or support.
The goal is to ensure that the student is holistically supported - academically, emotionally and psychologically - so that they feel seen and heard as individuals, while being emppowered and encouraged to do their best as students.
